Is this Insurance?
No this is NOT Insurance. This is a healthcare assistant program that provides the lowest possible prices on ALL available prescription medications that are available at over 66,000 different nationwide pharmacies or on medications that are delivered mail order directly to your home. Our program also includes other discount healthcare services provided by Aetna Dental, Outlook Vision, HearPo Hearing, Chiropractic Lifecare of America, and Medlink Imaging and Diagnostic services.


Are there any pre-qualification requirements?
No, there are no pre-qualification requirements, everyone is eligible for enrollment.


Do pre-existing medical conditions affect my ability to participate?
No, there are no exclusions or additional cost associated with pre-existing conditions, illnesses, diseases, or age limits.


How do I enroll?
Enrollment is easy and can be done online at www.rbmeds.com , by phone at 800-444-6364, or by your employer through company sponsored programs.


How many dependents does my plan include?
Your enrollment covers an unlimited amount of household dependents at no additional charge.


How do I add/edit/delete dependents and family members?
You can manage all dependents in your online member area at www.rbmeds.com or by calling 800-420-4736.


Can my dependents get their own program card?
Yes, they can print one from your members section or request one to be mailed to them. It will have the Primary member’s name only listed for all family members.


How do my dependents use the program?
Dependents use the program the same way as you do as long as they are registered in the system and listed on all mail order medication orders as valid dependents.


I am an employer; can I provide this program to my employees?
Yes you can provide the program to an unlimited amount of employee’s and their families as long as they are enrolled in the program and registered in the system.


Does it qualify as a pre-tax expense?
Yes it qualifies as a pre-tax healthcare deduction expense.


What specifically does the program include?
The walk in and mail order drug plan programs along with healthcare discount programs covering dental, vision, hearing, chiropractic, and imaging and diagnostic.

What do I do if I have a problem with one of the providers?
Contact customer service or call the direct provider phone number which is located on your membership card.

Is there 24/7 support and if so what type of support is it?
Yes support can be found at www.rbmeds.com or by calling the customer support number at 800-420-4736. Support includes, questions answered regarding the benefits of the program, help locating pharmacies and providers near the customer, and help with the drug ordering process.


What is the difference between discount programs and health insurance?
Discount programs offer pre-negotiated discount prices that directly apply to different products or services. In order for the member to receive the discounts they must pay the discounted fee in full at time of service. These discounted products and services do not require any additional approval process and savings are recognized immediately.


What is the difference from a free discount drug card and our drug card?
Free drug cards are not people or family specific and can be used by anyone without mandatory enrollment. Free cards are similar to coupons and do not guarantee any specific discount pricing and usually provide very small, if any real discounts.

Our card is a paid card that requires enrollment and activation by the member who is then activated in the national pharmacy computer network showing that the member is enrolled and is qualified and eligible to receive the special drug pricing. The drug pricing is pre-negotiated with 66,000 Nationwide pharmacies.


How fast is my program activated?
Your medication discounts are usually activated within 30 minutes from the time of enrollment and the other healthcare discount programs are usually activated within 48 hours.


How do I manage my account / my company’s account, once I enroll?
Accounts are managed by accessing a secure member or company portal accessible via the internet or company intranet or by calling the toll free customer support number.


Can an individual cancel the program at any time?
Yes, there are no contracts or long-term commitments, however the member is removed from the national computer network and all discounts become unavailable once the membership is canceled.


Do I need a valid prescription to get medications?
Yes, all medication will be purchased through a pharmacy and a valid prescription is required.


Who do I pay for the medications?
All medications are purchased directly from the pharmacy that is providing the medications that you choose, we do not collect any money for medications and do not prescribe or dispense medications.


Can I buy controlled substances such as pain medications via mail order?
No, controlled medications must be purchased from a walk-in pharmacy.


What do I do if I suspect illegal activity pertaining to my account?

Do HIPAA privacy laws apply?
Yes, all privacy laws apply to any of your personal or medical information and nothing will be shared by any outside party.


How do you get medication pricing so low?
Our plan allows you to pay the price the pharmacy usually gets paid by some of the largest HMOs and Insurance companies without having to be covered by their specific insurance plan.


Am I limited to purchasing my medications one month at a time like health insurance does?
No, you can purchase medications for up to a 90-day supply at one time as long as the prescription by the doctor allows it.


How do your discounts compare to other drug card programs?
Our discounts are usually 15% to 25% better than the 20 other national programs that we continually review.


What if my pharmacy has a problem filling my prescription?
We maintain a help desk that the pharmacy can call and the toll free number is located on the Walk-in pharmacy membership card.


Is there anything special I should do the first time I use this program at a participating pharmacy?
When you order your prescription, tell the pharmacy that you have a "Drug Card" program. They will ask you for a copy of the card, or the information on the card such as the BIN #, the group # and Member ID #. Then the pharmacy will use this information to find you in their system and automatically apply the medication discount at time of purchase.


How many prescriptions can I get with this program (during my membership period)?
There is no limit on how many prescriptions can be filled or how much you or your dependents can save. Only registered members (and their registered dependents) can obtain discounts.


Do you offer mail order prescriptions?
Yes we have our own mail order medication program that can save up to 80% on all medications delivered directly to your house.


Can I use this program if I am on vacation or traveling?
Yes. This program is valid at all nationwide participating pharmacies (over 66,000), for a list of participating pharmacies in your area go to www.rbmeds.com or call 800-420-4736.


How do I use the program to get the absolute best pricing?
Larger discounts can usually be obtained using the Mail Order 90-day option. In order to use this option, your prescription from your doctor must be specifically written for 90 days (or more) of the medication and you must obtain a 90-day supply. Do I have to buy in bulk in order to get a discount with this program?
No, all quantities are discounted with this program however you usually get better pricing with larger quantities.


Do I need to use a claim form with this program?
No claims forms or paperwork are required once you are enrolled in the program. Discounts are instant and automatic and applied to all valid members and dependents at time of service.


As a member, do I need more identification than what I received at enrollment?
No, only the identification information on your membership card is required to receive the different healthcare benefits.


Is it possible to get a more permanent ID card?
Yes, you should receive a permanent ID card in the mail within 14 days of registration. The card printed at enrollment has the same information as your permanent card and qualifies you for all available discounts.


Do you also offer dental, hearing, chiropractic, imaging and diagnostic, and vision programs?
Yes. We have contracted with some of the largest leading industry healthcare companies so we can offer to you only the highest quality products and services.


How will you charge my credit card for individual membership?
For individual memberships your credit card will be charged upon enrollment and there after, according to the payment plan option selected (monthly, quarterly or annual). After the initial enrollment period, your credit card will be automatically charged, according to your respective selection. We do not charge for medications at any time.


I'm currently covered by my employer's health plan so will this program still benefit me?
Yes this program is designed to complement existing health insurance plans by providing options that reduce certain medication prices below health insurance so-payment amounts. Our program also provides the member the opportunity to purchase up to a 90 day supply of medication at a time which usually means higher quantity discount pricing and you eliminate the 3 required separate monthly co-payments that health insurance requires most people to pay.


How does the money back guarantee work for individual members?
Enroll in the program and use it for 30 days. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied, we will refund 100% of the membership fees you paid, no questions asked.
